The footage takes us around the village of Mqabba during the days close to the Feast of Our Lady of the Lily 1995, in which we celebrated the 50th anniversary from the founding of the first Band in Mqabba.
This treats extensively the way that the Society’s supporters decorate their homes for the Feast, particularly poles, flags of every kind, festoons, artificial ivy, as well as miniature statues of Our Lady of the Lily in windows and other images in balconies.
Certainly, these items help to enhance the Feast atmosphere even more and are an expression of the villager’s devotion to Our Lady of the Lily.
