The following footage goes back to the year 1995, during a ceremony held prior the Monday Band March of the Feast of Our Lady of the Lily. During this year, we commemorated the 50th anniversary from the founding of the first Band in Mqabba.
For this occasion, the Youth section Committee donated an artistic flag featuring the Band’s emblem which was symbolically inaugurated at the village square. Still known to date as “Taż-Żgħażagħ”, this flag is flied in special occasions, as well as during the Feast week of Our Lady of the Lily.
