The following footage shows the first edition of the pyromusical display on the eve of the Feast of Our Lady of the Lily 2001. This consisted of various ball and spherical shells synchronized to various musical pieces.

Followed by a selection of traditional Maltese colour and cracker shells, it concludes with a spectacular battery. The 2001 Feast marked the 125th anniversary from the arrival of the Statue of Our Lady of the Lily in Mqabba.
