Inauguration of the Statue of Our Lady of the Lily found at the Fireworks Factory

Way back in 1997, late Benefactor Mr Innocent Farrugia wished to donate this statue carved in local stone. The inauguration was held during the Feast week. The statue survived two accidents in October 1997 and March 2002.

Throughout the years, fireworks enthusiasts made their utmost to keep the Statue in good condition, of special mention a niche which was put up for this aim.
