The Our Lady of the Lily Musical Society of Mqabba together with the Confraternity of the Immaculate Conception, with great pleasure announces that following an agreement with the Mqabba Parish Priest and the Archbishop’s Curia, the Feast of Our Lady of the Lily has been confirmed for Sunday 30th August 2020.
Today 21 June 2020, we celebrate the Feast Day in honor of Our Lady of the Lily in Mqabba.

This time round we would be normally communicating with you all the details related to the Feast celebration in honour of Our Lady of the Lily
Although this year’s Feast will not be celebrated in the usual manner, the Our Lady of the Lily Musical Society is launching an appeal to all members and supporters encouraging them to decorate their homes with poles, flags blue lightings and also images of Our Lady of the Lily in windows and balconies.
With reference to the communiqué issued Tuesday 19 May 2020 by the Ministry for Tourism and Public Protection where the Clubs’ bar can reopen as from Friday 22 May 2020, the Administrative Committee of the Our Lady of the Lily Musical Society of Mqabba would like to inform Members and Supporters that for the time being, the Bar and the Club will be kept closed due to ongoing renovation work in the main Square of Mqabba.

Friday 8th May 2019, Malta will commemorate the 75th anniversary from the end of World War II 1945 – 2020. For this occasion, the Lily Fireworks of Mqabba together with 26 other Maltese fireworks factories will let off aerial fireworks from Mqabba Bypass between 11:30am and 12:00pm.
The Our Lady of the Lily Musical Society is saddened by the demise of Lynden Fenech who went to meet the Risen Lord on Tuesday 5th May 2020 at the age of 20. Lynden was member of the Lily Juniors in his childhood and took part in various activities organised by the Society.
