The footage shows the best part of the much awaited Friday March of the Feast of Our Lady of the Lily 2008. With the participation of the village’s first Band, a focal point of this event was the inauguration of the artistic umbrella, by the Our Lady of the Lily Youth Section depicting four original paintings taken from the Litany of Loreto, by local artist and supporter Mr Rosario Zammit.
The following footage shows the Friday March of the Feast of Our Lady of the Lily 1998. This was with the participation of a Massed Band composed by the Our Lady of the Lily Band and the Austrian Band from Schildorn, which was the special guest that year.
The Feast of Our Lady of the Lily 1992 was the last one in which lances where let off by hand during band marches. This film features the Friday March where numbers of supporters are seen enjoying themselves by firing various types of lances which up to that time was a custom going back many years.
